The Midvale Arts Council will present “Bye Bye Birdie” July 9-23 (Fridays, Saturdays, & Mondays) at 7:30 p.m. at the Midvale Outdoor Stage in the Park, 400 West 7500 South. This story, set in the 1950s, shows rock star Conrad Birdie who has just been called up to the Army. Before he leaves he will visit Sweet Apple, Ohio to give Sweet Apple’s own Kim MacAfee ‘One Last Kiss.’ “Bye Bye Birdie” is a wholesome, energetic show sure to be a family favorite. The show is directed by Michelle Groves, with music direction by Marla Hintze, and choreography by Elise Groves. The cast includes Jeremiah Wing as Albert, Rebekah Hintze as Rosie, Danny James as Conrad Birdie, Larissa Villers as Kim, JaNae Cottam as Mae, and Tim & Joanne Frost as the MacAfees.
