Outreach

The Midvale Arts Council is here to serve the city of Midvale and the surrounding community. Our beneficiaries extend beyond those who just work with us; we work to serve all of Midvale, which faces cultural, economic, and educational barriers. All of our events are held within Midvale, UT and target neglected populations including low-income youth, people with disabilities and senior citizens.

Midvale City and its elementary schools are in desperate need of additional resources, especially those that foster inclusion, creativity and promote a stronger sense of community.  Art and culture help to educate and influence our youth at a critical time in their lives, thus sparking creativity and giving meaning to their lives well beyond their youth. We believe that working with the schools to bring arts experiences will help foster an upcoming generation with values based in art, culture, and education.

The Midvale Arts Council works directly with the schools to send art programs like Salzburger Echo, The Missoula Children’s Theatre and RDT into the schools for workshops, assemblies, and concerts for our students, their families, and the community at large.
