The Midvale City Arts Council is a group of citizens who believe that the arts are vital to a community. They meet on the second Saturday of every month at 10am, discussing and planning the future of the arts in Midvale.

Sponsor a Chair
You can sponsor a chair in our new Midvale Performing Arts Center. All proceeds will be used to purchase permanent lights and sound for our new theater. For more information and to see a list of sponsors, see our Light Up Midvale page.

Stage Production
We are in need of people to help with productions behind the scenes with things like set, sound, lights, costumes, props, etc. If you would have skills in any of these areas or would like to develop your skills in any of these areas contact Stephanie Johnson.

The Midvale Arts Councils sponsor an annual Harvest Days Visual and Literary Art Contest. Harvest Days are the first full week of August, and information for the contest will be available beginning in May of each calendar year.

Why The Arts Matter To You Contest
Win free tickets! Here are the rules of the contest:
1. Send us a video and let us know why the arts matter to you. The video can include a song, a dance, poetry or dialogue expressing your feelings about the arts and your community. You can also send us a letter/email/message telling us why the arts matter to you.
2. Make sure you include yourself saying “This is in support of improved performances in Midvale.”
Winning entries will receive free tickets to upcoming productions.
All entries become property of the Midvale Arts Council and may be posted on our website, Facebook page, or other media.
